Bilbo's Baggins' 111th Birthday Party


Bilbo's eleventy-first birthday at Bag End, his last celebrated in the Shire (Side 1, 05:03).

"'I don't know half of you as well as I should like; and I
like less than half of you as well as you deserve.'

This was unexpected and rather difficult. There was some
scattered clapping, but most of them were trying to work it out
and see if it came to a compliment."
