RCA 630TS TV

1946: RCA's First Postwar Designed Television

The RCA 630TS television is considered the "Model T" of postwar televisions, as it was the first new design to go on sale in 1946, and the basic chassis was around until the mid 1950's. For a brief time in 1946 RCA also had the 621TS on the market (a TV designed in 1941), but customers preferred the larger tube of the 630TS, which was still only 10 inches across.
