RONALD REAGAN

March 30, 1982:
* The space shuttle Columbia completes its third and longest test flight,
landing at the White Sands Missile Range in New Mexico after eight days in
space. This alternate landing site is used because heavy rain at Edwards Air
Force Base made the ground too soft.

* RCA PRESS RELEASE:
RCA and Warner Home Video in Video Disc Agreements

RCA and Warner Home Video, a Warner Communications company, today jointly
announced the execution of a series of agreements in the video disc area.

The agreements provide RCA with domestic video disc licenses to 35 of the most
successful pictures released by Warner, the possibility of access to future
titles, and grant Warner Home Video a number of options as to its involvement
in the CED video disc business.

The motion pictures licensed include "Superman," "10," "Blazing Saddles,"
"Enter The Dragon" and "Every Which Way But Loose," movies which have been
leaders in video cassette sales.

The agreements grant Warner Home Video, among other rights, the right to decide
in the future if it desires to distribute certain percentages of RCA video
discs itself, the possibility of future access to RCA custom pressing services,
and finally, a future claim on RCA video disc patent and technological
manufacturing expertise.

Seth M. Willenson, Division Vice President, Programs and Business Affairs, for
RCA "SelectaVision" VideoDiscs, said, "Our agreements with Warner Home Video
will provide a major new source of programs for the CED system, making
available for the first time on discs the performances of some of Hollywood's
biggest stars, most successful motion pictures and most innovative filmmaking."

Mr. Willenson said "the video disc provides Warner Home Video with a new
vehicle for reaching the American consumer market with Warner's quality
entertainment."

Carl DeSantis, Senior Vice President, Programming and Business Affairs of
Warner Home Video, agreed, stating, "These are our first agreements in the
video disc business. We look forward to their success."

Thomas G. Kuhn, RCA Division Vice President in charge of RCA "SelectaVision"
VideoDiscs, said, "The support of Warner Home Video to RCA's video disc effort
adds momentum to the development of this exciting new medium, and we, at RCA,
look forward to acceptance of the CED system as the video disc standard for
home entertainment."
