Tom Howe with prototype SKT425 VideoDisc player and RCA Dimensia system, the ultimate home entertainment setup in 1984 |
This website continues to be authored in BBEdit on the Macintosh IIci at left in the picture below. This was the high-end Macintosh model in 1989, but this is no ordinary IIci. It has a Daystar 40MHz 68040 accelerator, 128 MB of RAM, a 4 GB hard drive, and a 1600x1200 video card that alone went for $5,000 in 1994. In modern terms those specs don't sound like much, but they are insanely great for a 68K Macintosh. For more info visit the 68K Macintosh Liberation Army.
