Memories of VideoDisc - RCA Laboratories |
Regrettably, the other 2 courageous members of Hank's fly-in fishing trips to Canada are not shown here on the dock of remote Lake Wenebegan in northern Ontario. Earl Reives and Bob Huck were novice (rookie) fishermen who were trained by this world-famous "Northwoods Guide", Hank Olson, in the fine art of walleye and northern fishing. This trio went on 5 week-long fly-in fishing trips in Ontario, 2 fishing trips to Lake Saganaga in the Canoe Boundary Waters north of Minnesota, and later to Lake-of-the-Woods. In this photo, Hank is saying 'Goodbye, I'm staying here!'. He loved the Northwoods!
