Appointment of Paul W. Lyons as manager of the VideoDisc testing center has been announced by Robert D. Lohman, director of VideoDisc systems research, at RCA Laboratories in Princeton, N.J.
A native of DuBois, Pa., Mr. Lyons attended Pennsylvania State University and has completed work at Monmouth College for his degree in electronic engineering.
Mr. Lyons, who joined RCA in 1972, was an associate member of the technical staff before his promotion.
He is a member of Eta Kappa Nu.
Mr. Lyons and his wife, the former Andre A. Marone, of Freeport, N.Y., have three children, Matthew, 11, Jonathan, 5, and Amanda, 1. They live in New Egypt, N.J.
