Visual CED Title Database Selection
There are actually six versions of the Visual CED Title Database avaiable, which can be selected below. The first three listed display the VideoDisc caddies at 1024 x 1146 pixels, and the last three at 341 x 382 pixels. The first three are designed for high-resolution monitors or for examining the caddies in detail, while the last three are for low-resolution monitors or for viewing the entire caddy image at once without scrolling. On a 640 x 480 monitor it may be necessary to turn off all the Toolbars at the top of the browser window to entirely avoid scrolling with the 341 x 382 images.
This version is the most versatile, but also the most memory intensive. Clicking on any of the links in the title listing will open a second browser window displaying the CED caddy side or Internet Movie Database (IMDb) page associated with the link. The dual windows can be arranged and resized in any fashion desired. For example, a tall narrow window with the title listing can be put on the left-hand side of the screen, and a large square window containing the caddy image can be put on the right-hand side.
This version is recommended for monitors with a resolution of 1600 x 1200 or greater. CED Titles and their corresponding images or IMDb entries appear in side-by-side frames. Note that opening any of the links within the IMDb frame will cause the separate frames to disappear. If you want to explore the IMDb but still have instant access to the CED Title Database, use the Two Window Version above and arrange the windows side-by-side.
This version is recommended for low memory situations, or for those who prefer dealing with just one window. Clicking on the alphabet links below will open the image page of the first title that starts with that letter. From that point the Visual CED Title Database can be perused using the Previous and Next links in the Link Bar above and below each image. To have ready access to the alphabet selector below, use your browser's bookmark function to make a link to this page.
