Memories of VideoDisc - Who's Who in VideoDisc |
Bruce Babcock became Staff Vice President, VideoDisc Business and Operations Planning, in 1981 following the election of James Alic as Vice President, Electronic Services and VideoDisc Operations. Bruce Babcock became Division Vice President, Special Marketing - VideoDisc, in 1983 following the appointment of Arnold T. Valencia as Division Vice President and General Manager of the newly established VideoDisc Division. Shortly thereafter the VideoDisc Division was reorganized and Bruce Babcock became Division Vice President, Custom Pressing Marketing. This was mere months before RCA announced the abandonment of the CED system in April 1984, so the custom pressing market did not significantly materialize.
In the 1990's Bruce G. Babcock became Vice President of DBS Software and new product programming for Thomson Consumer Electronics.
See Bruce Babcock on slide 438 from Memories of VideoDisc.
