In 1982, Jack Sauter, RCA Group Vice President, announced the appointment of D. Joseph Donahue , Division Vice President and General Manager, Consumer Electronics Division.
D. Joseph Donahue subsequently announced his organization as follows:

David I. Brenner, Division Vice President, Finance.
James E. Carnes, Division Vice President, Engineering.
Keith U. Clary, Division Vice President, Industrial Relations.
David E. Daly, Division Vice President, Product Planning and Industrial Design.
Frances V. McCann, Division Vice President, Public Affairs.
Charles A. Quinn, Division Vice President, Materials and Facilities.
Leonard J. Schneider, Division Vice President, Manufacturing.
James R. Smith, Division Vice President, Product Assurance.
Arnold T. Valencia, President, RCA Distributing Corporation and President, RCA Sales Corporation.
Joe Donahue and his wife Beryl were among the hosts for the "Aloha Conference" held in February-March 1984 at the Kona Surf Hotel on the Big Island of Hawaii for RCA VideoDisc dealers with outstanding 1983 player sales.
In September 1984, D. Joseph Donahue presided over the introduction of the RCA Dimensia system.
After the breakup of RCA, resulting in the sale of the Consumer Electronics Division to Thomson, D. Joseph Donahue became Senior Vice President for Technology and Business Development, Thomson Consumer Electronics, Inc.
My grandfather is none other than Dr. Joseph Donahue. Just thought I would drop a line. He is a very intelligent man; his latest project, as you probably know, was HDTV.
