John E. Economou received the PhD degree in Physics from Illinois Institute of Technology in 1979. He joined RCA in 1979 to work in the Systems Engineering Group at "SelectaVision" VideoDisc Operations in Indianapolis. He is presently a Member of the Technical Staff in the Manufacturing Technology Research Laboratory at RCA Laboratories. His current research interests include the application of statistical and probabilistic methods to manufacturing problems and the physical modeling of kinescope-related phenomena.
